Through the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Transportation Equity Act, A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU), the motorcoach industry has the opportunity to obtain more than $500 million for the industry over the life of the bill. The largest amount of money provided to the industry ever, SAFETEA-LU provides funds for operators for wheelchair lifts, rural transportation programs, fuel tax refunds, intermodal facilities and security.
